CAMP HIGHLIGHTS
January 10, 2026 Open House & Audition
Northwestern High School, Albion PA
On January 10, student performers from across Pennsylvania and New York gathered at Northwestern High School in Albion, Pennsylvania, for a one-day Legacy Drum & Bugle Corps audition camp. Twenty-three musicians and performers participated in a focused and energetic day designed to introduce the Legacy experience and evaluate prospective members for the upcoming season.
Following a welcome and staff introductions, participants were divided into their respective captions: brass, battery percussion, front ensemble, and color guard. Each section worked under the guidance of an experienced instructional team:

Throughout the day, students engaged in intensive sectional instruction, fundamentals training, and performance development. Emphasis was placed on technique, musicianship, and ensemble excellence, providing performers with new skills and a deeper understanding of the standards and expectations of the Drum and Bugle Corps activity. The camp served as both an educational opportunity and a first step for many toward participation in Legacy Drum & Bugle Corps as the organization prepares to join the Open Class DCI tour later this summer.
